{"id":94,"date":"2014-08-27T23:17:52","date_gmt":"2014-08-27T23:17:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.2013.fif.art.br\/?p=94"},"modified":"2014-08-29T14:54:00","modified_gmt":"2014-08-29T14:54:00","slug":"rosangela-renno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.2013.fif.art.br\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"Ros\u00e2ngela Renno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nasceu em Belo Horizonte, em 1962, mas vive e trabalha no Rio de Janeiro. \u00c9 formada em Arquitetura pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, em Belo Horizonte (1986) e em Artes Pl\u00e1sticas pela<!--more-->Escola Guignard (1987), na mesma cidade, tendo obtido o doutorado em Artes pela Escola de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Artes da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo, em 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Come\u00e7ou a expor em 1985, obtendo em pouco tempo r\u00e1pido reconhecimento nacional e internacional, o que a levou a ter trabalhos inclu\u00eddos em algumas das mais importantes cole\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas, como as do Museo Nacional Reina Sofia (Madri); do Arts Institute of Chicago; da Tate Modern (Londres); da Daros LatinAmerica (Zurique); e do Stedelijk Museum (Amsterd\u00e3). Realizou numerosas exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais e coletivas, tendo participado de duas edi\u00e7\u00f5es da Bienal Internacional de S\u00e3o Paulo (a 24\u00aa, em 1994, e a 29\u00aa, em 2010); de duas edi\u00e7\u00f5es da Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul (a 1\u00aa, em 1997, e a 7\u00aa, em 2009), da 50\u00aa Bienal de Veneza, em 1993, e da 6\u00aa Bienal de Havana, em 1997. Conquistou bolsas do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa Tecnol\u00f3gica, em 1991; da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional de Artes, em 1992; da Civitella Ranieri Foundation, de Umbertide (It\u00e1lia), em 1997; da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Vitae, em 1998, assim como da Guggenheim (EUA), em 1999.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">She was born in Belo Horizonte in 1962, but she resides and works in Rio de Janeiro. She graduated in Architecture at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and in Visual Arts at the Escola Guignard\u00a0<span id=\"more-4693\"><\/span>(1987) \u2013 both in Belo Horizonte \u2013 having also obtained a doctorate in Arts at the School of Arts and Communication of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, in 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">She began exhibiting in 1985, quickly gaining national and international renown, which led her to have her works included in some of the most important public collections, such as the one of the Museo Nacional Reina Sofia (Madrid); the Arts Institute of Chicago; Tate Modern (London); the Daros LatinAmerica (Zurich); and the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam). She has held numerous individual and group exhibitions, participating in two editions of the S\u00e3o Paulo Art Biennial (the 24th in 1994, and the 29th in 2010); two editions of the Mercosul Visual Arts Biennial (the first one in 1997, and the 7th in 2009); the 50th Venice Biennale in 1993; and the 6th Habana Biennial in 1997.
