Dirceu Mau\u00e9s, 1968. Vive e trabalha em Bras\u00edlia. Graduado em Artes Pl\u00e1sticas pela UnB (2012). Mestrando do Programa de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Arte \u2013 UnB. Atuou como fot\u00f3grafo dos principais jornaisimpressos em Bel\u00e9m-PA de 1997 a 2008 (O Liberal, Di\u00e1rio do Par\u00e1 e Amaz\u00f4nia Jornal). Em 2003, iniciou trabalho autoral nas \u00e1reas da fotografia, cinema e v\u00eddeo, o qual t\u00eam como base pesquisas com a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de c\u00e2meras artesanais e utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de aparelhos prec\u00e1rios. Participou recentemente como palestrante\/ministrante de oficinas em v\u00e1rios festivais e semin\u00e1rios de fotografia (em Paraty, Montevideu, Rio de Janeiro, S\u00e3o Paulo, Recife e Fortaleza e Bel\u00e9m). Em 2009, foi artista residente na Ku\u0308nstlerhaus Bethanien\/Berlim pelo programa Rumos Ita\u00fa Cultural sendo tamb\u00e9m contemplado com uma Bolsa Funarte de estimulo \u00e0 cria\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica 2008\/2009. Participou do projeto Encontros com a Fotografia \u2013 FNAC\/2009. Realizou exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais em Berlim, Montevideu, Katowice (Pol\u00f4nia), S\u00e3o paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba e Bel\u00e9m. Em 2012 foi artista residente na WBK Vrije Academie, em Haia\/Holanda, resultado de uma premia\u00e7\u00e3o no 17\u00ba Festival Internacional de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea SESC_VIDEOBRASIL. Seus trabalhos fazem parte das cole\u00e7\u00f5es Pirelli-Masp, FNAC, Videobrasil, MAC-PR (Museu de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea – Paran\u00e1), MARP-SP (Museu de Arte de Ribeir\u00e3o Preto \u2013 S\u00e3o Paulo), MEP-PA (Museu do Estado do Par\u00e1), Cole\u00e7\u00e3o Joaquim Paiva e Cole\u00e7\u00e3o Rubens Fernandes Jr.<\/p>\n
Dirceu Mau\u00e9s graduated in Visual Arts at the University of Bras\u00edlia and is taking a Master\u2019s Degree in the Post-Graduation Program in Arts of the UnB. He worked as a photographer for the main newspapers of Bel\u00e9m\/PA between 1997<\/span>\u00a0and 2008. In 2003, he started his authorial work in the fields of photography, filmmaking and video production, based on the research done with the construction of handmade cameras and the utilization of unreliable devices. In 2009, he was a resident artist at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin through the\u00a0Rumos Ita\u00fa Cultural\u00a0<\/i>program, also being awarded with the 2008\/2009 Funarte Scholarship for the Support of Artistic Creation. Mau\u00e9s has held individual exhibitions in Berlin (Germany), Montevideo (Uruguay), Katowice (Poland), S\u00e3o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Bel\u00e9m (Brazil). In 2012 he was a resident artist at the WBK Vrije Academie in The Hague (Holland), after being awarded at the 17\u00ba Festival Internacional de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea SESC_VIDEOBRASIL.
