Atrav\u00e9s do estudo de obras de artistas e fot\u00f3grafos, a oficina prop\u00f5e a discuss\u00e3o de diferentes eixos conceituais da imagem fotogr\u00e1fica nos \u00faltimos 50 anos, bem como a sua presen\u00e7a no circuito de arte(galerias, museus e bienais). Ser\u00e3o discutidas as poss\u00edveis categoriza\u00e7\u00f5es da imagem desde a fotografia conceitual dos anos 1960 e 1970, passando pela fotografia como material de arte durante os anos 1980 e 1990, chegando at\u00e9 os registros da virada do s\u00e9culo XX. Durante a oficina, os participantes ter\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m a oportunidade de participar de uma leitura em grupo de trabalhos realizados pelos alunos.<\/p>\n

Through the study of works by artists and photographers, the workshop proposes the discussion of different central concepts of photographic image over the last 50 years, as well as its presence in art<\/span>\u00a0circuits (galleries, museums and biennials). There will be discussions on the possible categorizations of image since the conceptual photography of the 60\u2032s and 70\u2032s, covering photography as an artistic material during the 80\u2032s and 90\u2032s, until what has been recorded on the turn of the 20th century. Over the course of this workshop, the attendees will also have the opportunity of participating of a group reading of works performed by the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jo\u00e3o Castilho \u00e9 artista visual e autor dos livros\u00a0Puls\u00e3o Esc\u00f3pica\u00a0<\/i>(2012),\u00a0Peso Morto\u00a0<\/i>(2010) e\u00a0Paisagem Submersa\u00a0<\/i>(2008). Suas obras integram os acervos de destacados espa\u00e7os, como MAM (Museu de Arte Moderna, S\u00e3o Paulo), MAM (Museu de Arte Moderna, Bahia), Mus\u00e9e du Quai Branly, em Paris, e Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, no Jap\u00e3o. J\u00e1 realizou exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais na Zipper Galeria (SP), na 1500 Gallery (NY), na Galeria Celma Albuquerque (BH), no Museu de Arte da Pampulha (MG), na Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Joaquim Nabuco (PE), dentre outros.
