{"id":5,"date":"2014-08-27T21:13:44","date_gmt":"2014-08-27T21:13:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.2013.fif.art.br\/?page_id=5"},"modified":"2014-08-29T14:59:21","modified_gmt":"2014-08-29T14:59:21","slug":"o-festival","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.2013.fif.art.br\/?page_id=5","title":{"rendered":"O Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/85433535\" width=\"941\" height=\"531\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"one_half\">O primeiro Festival Internacional de Fotografia de Belo Horizonte (FIF-BH) tem como proposta transformar a cidade, pelo per\u00edodo de um m\u00eas, em um polo de converg\u00eancia para a discuss\u00e3o e reflex\u00e3o sobre a produ\u00e7\u00e3o da imagem fotogr\u00e1fica no Brasil e no mundo por meio de palestras, exposi\u00e7\u00f5es, workshops, leituras de portf\u00f3lio, proje\u00e7\u00f5es na cidade e pela realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma maratona fotogr\u00e1fica.<\/p>\n<p>O evento convidar\u00e1 importantes pensadores e produtores, brasileiros e estrangeiros, para desenvolverem toda a s\u00e9rie de atividades que comp\u00f5em o festival, a fim de construir um espa\u00e7o dedicado \u00e0 cr\u00edtica e ao entendimento deste intenso processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o e consumo de imagens, atrav\u00e9s de reflex\u00f5es consistentes sobre a Fotografia e a Imagem no mundo contempor\u00e2neo.<\/p>\n<p>O festival conta com a curadoria de Eduardo de Jesus, \u00a0doutor pela Escola de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Artes da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo e professor da p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o da Faculdade de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Artes da PUC Minas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O FIF e a Cidade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uma das a\u00e7\u00f5es fundamentais do FIF-BH consiste na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da pr\u00f3pria cidade como suporte para produ\u00e7\u00e3o e exibi\u00e7\u00e3o de trabalhos de arte. Atuando no campo visual da cidade, em ambientes que se caracterizem pelo grande fluxo e diversidade de pessoas, o festival participar\u00e1 do cotidiano da cidade, aproximando-se da popula\u00e7\u00e3o e sendo acess\u00edvel a ela.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O FIF e o Mundo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Com o objetivo de lan\u00e7ar a capital mineira no cen\u00e1rio mundial da Arte Fotogr\u00e1fica, a partir da promo\u00e7\u00e3o de debates e reflex\u00f5es consistentes sobre o universo da imagem, fomentando a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do acesso \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o nacional e internacional da Fotografia e suas m\u00eddias relacionadas, o FIF prev\u00ea a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de importantes pensadores, artistas, te\u00f3ricos e jornalistas, brasileiros e estrangeiros, nas diferentes atividades que comp\u00f5em o Festival.<\/div><div class=\"one_half last\">\n<p>The first Belo Horizonte International Photography Festival (FIF-BH) has the purpose of, for the duration of a month, turn the city into a meeting center for debates and reflections on the photographic production in Brazil and the rest of the world, by means of lectures, exhibitions, workshops, portfolio reviewing sessions, projections on the city and a Photographic Marathon.<\/p>\n<p>The event will gather important Brazilian and foreign thinkers and producers to the city, who are to develop all the activities which comprise the Festival, so as to build a space dedicated to reviewing and understanding this intense process of production, distribution and consumption of images, through a consistent reflection on photography and images in the world today<\/p>\n<p>The Festival has the curatorship of Professor Doctor Eduardo de Jesus &#8211; critic, essayist, curator and board member of the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Videobrasil (S\u00e3o Paulo\/SP), also the coordinator of the Sound and Image Experimental Center (CEIS) of PUC Minas (Belo Horizonte\/MG).<\/p>\n<p><b>THE FIF AND THE CITY<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>One of the key actions of the FIF-BH is the employment of the city itself as a supporting base for the production and exhibition of works of art.
