Por meio de uma convocat\u00f3ria internacional, o n\u00facleo curatorial do FIF-BH selecionou\u00a032 artistas, de 19 nacionalidades, oriundos de 4 continentes.<\/p>\n<p>Entre os dias<b> 4 de julho e 25 de agosto<\/b>, cerca de 300 obras se dividem entre quatro espa\u00e7os de Belo Horizonte, com visita\u00e7\u00e3o gratuita.<\/p>\n<p><b>CURADORIA<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Eduardo de Jesus: professor, cr\u00edtico, ensa\u00edsta e curador; doutor pela Escola de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Artes da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) e professor da p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o da Faculdade de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Artes da PUC Minas\u00a0(Belo Horizonte\/MG).<\/p>\n<p>Patricia Azevedo \u00e9 artista e professora de fotografia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). A estrutura conceitual da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o foi desenvolvida a partir das imagens, linhas de pensamento e investiga\u00e7\u00f5es po\u00e9ticas encontradas nos trabalhos inscritos, a fim de apresentar um panorama da produ\u00e7\u00e3o contempor\u00e2nea da fotografia relacionada com artes visuais, em todo o mundo. Esta exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 agora composta de obras de arte excepcionais que se encontram na intersec\u00e7\u00e3o entre a fotografia e as outras m\u00eddias, abrindo di\u00e1logo com a escultura, filme, document\u00e1rio, performance e o desenho.<\/p>\n<p>Bruno Vilela &#8211; Diretor FIF_BH<br \/>\nGuilherme Cunha &#8211;\u00a0 Diretor FIF_BH<br \/>\nProf. Eduardo de Jesus &#8211; curador, cr\u00edtico e professor do Curso de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o da PUC &#8211; MG (Brazil)<br \/>\nPatr\u00edcia Azevedo &#8211; artista visual e professora de fotografia da UFMG<\/div><div class=\"one_half last\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">The exhibition will be based on the contemporary production of photographic image in its expanded field and its related mediums, with the participation of Brazilian and foreign artists, selected through a international convocation by the curatorial department of the Belo Horizonte International Photography Festival (FIF-BH), to be formed by Eduardo de Jesus and Patr\u00edcia Azevedo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">The Great International Exhibit has the objective of working on the many different forms of poetic expression which utilize photographic resources in their broader conception.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">The exhibition will take place between July and August 2013, in Belo Horizonte (MG), and will be open to the public with no entry fees. There is a possibility that the exhibit may run in other cities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">The international convocation of artists will soon be available at the Festival&#8217;s website, with a free registration[\/one_half]<div class=\"one_half last\"><\/div><div class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><b>CURATORSHIP<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">The curatorial scope of the exhibition will be built from the ensemble of works registered in the international convocation. The curators of the Great International Exhibit will be:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Eduardo de Jesus: professor doctor, critic, essayist and curator; board member of the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Videobrasil (S\u00e3o Paulo\/SP) and coordinator of the CEIS (Sound and Image Experimental Center) of PUC Minas (Belo Horizonte\/MG).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Patricia Azevedo is an artist and professor of photography at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Develops collaborative projects equating relationships of language, territory and power, working in the public space of the city or the media itself .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>OPEN CALL SELECTION <strong>RESULT<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">After one week of deliberation around 1000 applications from 73countries, the FIF-BH curatorial team, selected the works of 32 artists from 19 countries that will take part in the Festival&#8217;s Exhibition.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993366;\"> The conceptual framework of the exhibition was developed from the images, lines of thought, and poetic investigations found in the selected works, in order to present a panorama of the contemporary visual arts related photography production across the globe.
